‘Call upon the Cabinet Member for Local Government Reorganisation and Climate Change to urgently write to our MP, on behalf of the Council, vigorously opposing his position, laid out in Westminster last week supporting a single unitary authority, in direct conflict with the wishes of his constituents, and urging him to reconsider.’
In accordance with Procedure Rule 18.3 a recorded vote was taken in respect of the accuracy of the minutes of the Council meeting held on 16th July 2025.

In accordance with Procedure Rule 18.3 a recorded vote was taken on a proposed amendment to a Motion on Notice that had been submitted in respect of the West Mercia Police and Crime Panel. This amendment proposed to add the following words to the end of this Motion: “Therefore, this Council calls on the Chairman of the Overview and Scrutiny Board to invite the Police and Crime Commissioner to one of their panels.”
At the request of Councillor K. Taylor, Members made a formal recorded vote in respect of the resolutions that had been proposed for the Bromsgrove District Local Plan Draft Development Strategy Consultation 2025 report.
