Local Government Act 1972 "RESOLVED: that under Section 100 I of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended, the public be excluded from the meeting during the consideration of the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Part I of Schedule 12A to the Act, as amended, the relevant paragraphs of that part being as set out below, and that it is in the public interest to do so:-

Renewal Application for a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Driver's Licence Minutes: The Sub-Committee considered the renewal application for a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Driver’s Licence.
The Technical Officer (Licensing), Worcestershire Regulatory Services outlined the details of the renewal application, together with the reasons why the renewal application had been brought before the Sub-Committee, detailing the Council’s Guidance Relating to the Relevance of Convictions and Cautions.
At the invitation of the Chairman, the applicant’s solicitor put forward the case on behalf of the applicant. The applicant, applicant’s solicitor and the applicant’s representative answered a number of questions from Members of the Sub-Committee.
The Sub-Committee then adjourned to consider its decision. Upon its return it was
RESOLVED that the renewal application be granted. |
