Local Government Act 1972 "RESOLVED: that under Section 100 I of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended, the public be excluded from the meeting during the consideration of the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Part I of Schedule 12A to the Act, as amended, the relevant paragraph of that part, in each case, being as set out below, and that it is in the public interest to do so:-

Consideration of the suspension or revocation of a Personal Licence Minutes: The Sub-Committee considered the suspension or revocation of a Personal Licence under the Licensing Act 2003.
The licence was subject to a Hearing in light of information received by Worcestershire Regulatory Services.
The Technical Officer, Worcestershire Regulatory Services outlined the details of the information received and the reasons why the licence holder had been brought before the Sub-Committee.
At the invitation of the Chairman, the licence holder put forward his case and answered a number of questions from Members of the Sub-Committee.
The Sub-Committee then adjourned to consider its decision. Upon its return it was
RESOLVED that the Sub-Committee indicated that they were currently not minded to revoke the licence, and that in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003 Section 132A (10), that the Sub-Committee would follow the next due process. |
