Local Government Act 1972

"RESOLVED: that under Section 100 I of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended, the public be excluded from the meeting during the consideration of the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Part I of Schedule 12A to the Act, as amended, the relevant paragraph of that part, in each case, being as set out below, and that it is in the public interest to do so:-

Licensing Act 2003 - Personal Licence Application

Minutes:

The Sub-Committee considered as application for a Personal Licence under the Licensing Act 2003.

 

The application was subject to a Hearing in light of a representation received from West Mercia Police.

 

The Technical Officer, Worcestershire Regulatory Services outlined the details of the application together with the reasons why the application had been brought before the Sub-Committee.

 

At the invitation of the Chairman, the applicant put forward his case and answered a number of questions from Members of the Sub-Committee.

 

At the invitation of the Chairman, the representative from West Mercia Police put forward their objection to the application and answered a number of questions from Members of the Sub-Committee.

 

The Sub-Committee then adjourned to consider its decision.  Upon its return it was

 

RESOLVED that the application be granted.
