Issue - meetings

The exempt minute from the meeting of the Cabinet held on 11^th September 2024, concerning the Levelling Up project, was considered.  A request was received to ask a question of clarification on the subject of this minute.  However, this subsequently transpired to be a request for an update on progress that had occurred since the meeting.  Officers advised that Council was not in a position to consider matters arising from meetings, and therefore there was no debate in respect of this matter.

(During consideration of this item, Members agreed to move to exclude the press and public prior to any debate on the grounds that information would be revealed which related to the financial and business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information)).  However, there is nothing exempt in this minute.)
