Issue - meetings

The Chairman invited Ms. M. Worsfold, Conservation Officer, to address the Meeting.  Ms. Worsfold gave a brief presentation and outlined the appraisal document for the Dodford Conservation Area.  She explained the history of the settlement of Dodford and highlighted some of the main features of the Conservation Area, namely the single storey cottages, the narrow lanes and high hedgerows.

It was also reported that the appraisal was the second to be completed, with the Hagley appraisal published last year, and a draft management plan for the Hagley conservation area has also been produced.

RESOLVED:

(i)         that the document be noted and approved;

(ii)        that the inclusion of information about the Conservation Area with Local Land Charge Search returns be investigated; and

(iii)       that the officers involved with the Dodford Conservation Area Appraisal be congratulated on the publication of a well presented and informative document.
