Issue - meetings

Consideration was given to a report relating to the Local Development Scheme which had previously been considered in January and October 2005, and in September 2006.  It was reported that a new version of the document was required to reflect the current situation.  Mr. M. Dunphy, Strategic and Local Plans Officer, informed the Working Party of some of the key changes to the scheme, and stated that some of the Local Development Scheme target dates would have to be amended.

As part of the Local Development Scheme submission, Members also considered the existing planning policies within the Bromsgrove District Local Plan which would be carried forward to the replacement Development Plan Document.

RECOMMENDED: that the amended Local Development Scheme document be submitted to the Government Office for the West Midlands for approval, prior to full adoption by the Council.
